Works will start on Monday 27^th February on the A52 Wyvern Transport Improvements Scheme.

This initial stage of the works will mainly be carried out off the highway in the Derwent Triangle Site but will include some work on the highway to prepare the site in advanced of the main works starting. The works are required to allow for utility companies to divert buried services that would be in the way of the proposed new layout. The advanced works are expected to run until May when the main works are programmed to begin.

The works on the highways will include some off peak traffic lights and narrow lanes on Wyvern Way and off peak lane closures on the A52, there will be no road closures required for the planned works.

The scheme is designed to address traffic congestion concerns on the A52 while providing improvements for pedestrians and cyclists using the Wyvern and Pride Park.  For more details:
