Following a successful shared bid between Derby City Council, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council for Government Funding from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), businesses in the East Midlands will soon benefit from more green travel options within their cities.

This free event is targeted at anyone from the public or private sector who operates vehicles in and around Derby city.

  • It’s an opportunity to discuss various issues and opportunities that a clean air zone in the city poses, and will provide support and advice on how best to prepare for change, with particular emphasis on green travel options.
  • The event will enable you and your colleagues to experience the vehicles first hand with the opportunity to take the wheel and test drive the latest electric and plug-in models from top manufacturers.
  • Industry experts including TV presenter and motoring journalist Quentin Willson, senior officials from OLEV, plus Council representatives will be present on the day to deliver keynote presentations, highlighting Derby’s vision for a greener region, plus the latest on car, van and charging grants.
