Councillor Matthew Holmes, Cabinet Member for Leadership, Regeneration and Public Protection and Deputy Leader of the Council said:
“We have been working very hard to get the A52 Wyvern Improvement Scheme back on track and when completed it will help to reduce congestion, improve journey times, reliability and help deliver sustainable travel options. Ultimately the project will help us realise great economic benefits for our city.
Of course, delivering an infrastructure project of this size and complexity inevitably creates disruption and I would personally like to convey my ongoing thank to motorists, residents, and local businesses for their continued patience.”
Any changes to the proposed scheduled will be communicated as soon as we are made aware of them.
See the Derby City Council website for more details on the scheme.
