If you have ever travelled around Derby by bus, and used two buses that are run by different companies, you probably had to buy separate tickets on each bus. Now with Spectrum, you can buy one ticket and use it for a whole day to travel on nearly all bus services around the city!

Spectrum is a new all day multi-operator bus travel ticket for the city that has been launched to make travelling around the city by bus cheaper and easier. Councillor Ranjit Banwait, chairman of the Strategic Bus Partnership, said:

“This launch is a milestone on the road towards a simpler, more user-friendly bus service for Derby.”

The new ticket was launched at an event on Thursday 11th April at the Bus Station and will be available on Arriva, Trent Barton, Notts & Derby and Littles’ services.
Spectrum offers great value with adult tickets priced at just £5.50, and child tickets at £3.50. The tickets allow unlimited travel until midnight within the Derby city area and you can buy a Spectrum ticket on any participating bus service.
