Cycle Derby App

My local function has hand-picked locations around Derby for you to explore on your cycling route, enabling you to find cafés, parks, pubs, bike shops, bike parking and much more. The new app has great functions to help you explore new routes in and around the city, such as route videos, plan and track your routes.

Derby Arena

Opening in early 2015 the arena offers many facilities including a 250m cycle track, the velodrom is open to novices and experienced riders, so if you haven’t cycled on an indoor track before this is an ideal opportunity to give it a go right on your door step!

There are a number of routes around Derby and Derbyshire that are suitable for all ages and abilities, that have been mapped ready for you to enjoy. Whether you are an individual or cycling as a family there is a route to suit all!

Breeze Rides

The all women rides let you explore some of Derby’s most popular cycle routes, allowing you to go at your pace. There is also a tea break to enjoy your surroundings, such as Elvaston Castle before you cycle back to the meeting point.

Route Tracker

Connected’s route tracker lets you plot out your route after you have completed a journey, it allows you to see the distance you have cycled and calories burnt. You can create, plan and save routes to enjoy.

Maintenance Courses

While your out and about don’t get stuck, take part in one of our free maintenance courses and learn the basics of how to maintain and repair your bike. The courses are available through February and March at Park Bikeworks.
