The Big Cycle Day Out has been rescheduled to Saturday 19th July 2014 at the Cathedral Green, Derby, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Join Cycle Derby and Connected to celebrate everything cycling in Derby with The Big Cycle Day Out.
This is a free event and has plenty do for all the family!
The star of Britain’s Got Talent will be bringing his Extreme Mountain Bike Show to the Market Place; Joe will be performing incredible tricks and skills on a multi-level platform throughout the day. To add to the excitement he will also be attempting seven World Records, so you may witness a new one being set!
In a first for Derby the Shoretrax team will be installing a portable timber mountain bike track which has been designed by professional bike riders and inspired by the timber mountain bike trails of Canada’s North Shore!
The Shoretrax trail is suitable for all riders of any age and skill level. Although its inspiration is from traditional mountain bike trails, anyone can ride the track on any type of bike including BMX bikes!
The 60m x 25m track that will be installed on the Market Place and will be available to both children and adults of all abilities throughout the day to test their skills!

You can have your cycle questions answered and find out any information you need to know about cycling within and around the city. There will be various cycling partners and shops on the day to offer advice, such as:

- Cyclo Monster
- Lovelo Cycle Works
- Plus cycling clubs from across Derby and British Cycling!
Free bike health checks.
Macmillan Cancer this year’s official Cycle Derby Sportive charity will be there to promote their services.
